Prayer Ministry
The prayer team meets each Saturday and Sunday morning from 6:00-6:30 AM. During that time, there have been two or more members who have prayed. The team also distributes the prayer list to the “dykH” volunteersand also at 7:30 AM Saturday or Sunday, we pray for those who want prayer at the breakfast.
We pray for the ministry in general for all components with some special requests.
Prayer is foundational for all who believe and petitioning God is what He wants us to do for everything before we do it. It was said in a recent devotional that ”yet Jesus said the riches of heaven belong to the poor in spirit. Self-reliance robs us of God’s good gifts.”
We pray intentionally for God’s provisions, protection and wisdom for “do you know Him” Ministry.
Monthly Prayer Walk
Beginning in November 2015 we have invited all the churches in Manchester to join us for a prayer walk for our city. We meet at Veteran’s Park Monday nights at 6:30pm and spend 60-90 minutes walking to different locations in our city to pray. We rotate locations each month and include stops such as the Valley st Jail to pray for the prisoners and their families, City Hall to pray for godly leadership for our city and the Merrimack st fire station to pray for all first responders and the success of the “ Safe Station” program for those suffering from addiction. We pray rain and shine and only cancel if the city declares a snow emergency
